Successful Appearance at the CEMA Monográfica El Escorial 2025
On 4 October 2025, several English Mastiffs closely connected to our kennel took part in the XLII. Exposición Nacional Monográfica of the Club Español de los Molosos de Arena in El Escorial near Madrid.
The Mastiffs were judged by French judge Sylviane Tompouski. For from the Celtic Mountain, the CEMA Monográfica El Escorial 2025 turned into a particularly successful show day.
Magnus and Miss Marple from our own breeding, as well as Greta from Gawy, presented themselves beautifully. We were also especially delighted by the success of Natalio from the Celtic Mountain. The young male was bred by us and now lives with a breeder friend.
Natalio Becomes Best Junior in Show
The outstanding success of the day was achieved by Natalio from the Celtic Mountain.
Natalio competed in the Junior Class and was awarded Excellent 1. He also received the CCJ and the MRJ award as Best Junior of Breed.
But his successful show day did not end there. In the final competition, Natalio entered the ring against the best junior dogs of the entire show and once again came out on top.
He was awarded:

This achievement makes us especially proud. Natalio carries the name of our kennel and demonstrated impressively in El Escorial how beautifully he has developed. We are very happy for his owner and our breeder friend on receiving this significant award.

Greta from Gawy Wins the CAC
Greta from Gawy also impressed at the CEMA Monográfica with a strong presentation. She competed in the Intermediate Class and received Excellent 1.
In addition, Greta was awarded the CAC. In the further competition, she also received the MSO – Mejor Sexo Opuesto, the award for Best of Opposite Sex.

Greta presented herself confidently and showed her breed-typical, powerful and harmonious appearance. Her success in El Escorial marks another beautiful milestone in her show career so far.

Miss Marple Wins Her Class
Miss Marple from the Celtic Mountain also impressed in El Escorial. She was shown in the Open Class for females and presented herself in excellent condition against strong competition.
With her expressive appearance, strong substance and confident presentation, she received Excellent 1.
She was also awarded the Reserve CAC (RCAC), once again confirming her quality in the international show ring.

With this result, Miss Marple continued seamlessly from her previous show successes and once again underlined the quality of the from the Celtic Mountain kennel.

Magnus Awarded Reserve CAC
Magnus from the Celtic Mountain was shown in the Open Class and received Excellent 2 as well as the Reserve CAC. His result added another international award to the successful overall outcome of the show day.
The result fits perfectly into his show career so far and once again highlights his breed-typical and powerful appearance.

Successful Finish with the Breeder’s Group
In addition to the individual judging, the from the Celtic Mountain breeder’s group was also presented. Several dogs bred by us were shown together in the ring and judged as a group.
Our breeder’s group achieved an excellent 2nd place.
This result has a special significance for us. The focus is not on individual show successes, but on the quality and consistency of the breeding programme as a whole. Among other things, breed type, harmony, expression and the consistently high quality of the dogs bred by the kennel are assessed.
Second place confirms our breeding work and makes us very proud.
Our Conclusion
The CEMA Monográfica El Escorial 2025 was an all-round successful show day for from the Celtic Mountain.
We are especially proud of Natalio from the Celtic Mountain’s Best Junior in Show title. He now lives with a breeder friend and represented our breeding in an impressive way. At the same time, we are delighted with the excellent results achieved by Greta, Miss Marple and Magnus, as well as the second place of our breeder’s group.
We would like to thank all owners, helpers and friends for their support, as well as the Club Español de los Molosos de Arena (CEMA) for organising this special event. We are already looking forward to meeting again at future shows in Spain.
