For early 2027, we are planning another English Mastiff litter at Celtic Mountain. Prospective puppy families are very welcome to get in touch with us early. Further information about the planned mating will be published in due course.

A good start begins long before your puppy moves in
Are you looking to buy an English Mastiff puppy and would like to learn more about this extraordinary breed? At From the Celtic Mountain, our Mastiffs live closely with us as cherished members of our family.
Our kennel is located in Hinzert-Pölert in the Hochwald region of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany – not far from Trier, the Saarland and Luxembourg.
Just as important to us as careful rearing is finding a loving and suitable lifelong home for every individual puppy. Our aim is to give you an honest insight into our breeding programme, our dogs and our values, so that you feel confident and well supported from the very beginning.

Raised at the heart of our family
Our puppies are raised with close family contact. From the very beginning, they experience everyday family life, close human companionship and life alongside our adult dogs.
We place great importance on calm, loving and age-appropriate development. Our puppies are given plenty of time to explore their surroundings, build confidence and become familiar with different everyday situations.
Despite his impressive size, the English Mastiff is a sensitive and deeply people-oriented dog. A trusting bond and positive experiences during the first weeks of life provide an important foundation for his future development.
Health & Responsibility
Responsibility begins before the litter
When selecting parent dogs, we consider not only pedigree and breed type, but especially health, character and temperament.
Our kennel is listed as an English Mastiff breeder with the Club für Molosser e. V. The club is a member of the VDH and FCI. Our breeding therefore takes place within established breeding regulations and corresponding controls.
Litter Inspection, Vaccination, Microchip & Deworming
Before leaving for their new homes, our English Mastiff puppies are cared for and checked in accordance with veterinary and breeding requirements.
When they leave us, our puppies are:
- appropriately and repeatedly dewormed,
- vaccinated,
- identified with a microchip,
- examined by a veterinarian,
- checked as part of the official litter inspection.
Every puppy leaves with the relevant documentation for their new home. This includes their vaccination record or EU Pet Passport, pedigree documentation and additional handover documents.
Familiar essentials for the new home
To make the transition into their new family as familiar and relaxed as possible, every puppy leaves us with a carefully prepared starter package.
This includes, among other things:
- a supply of their familiar food,
- a personal toy,
- a blanket carrying the familiar scent of their canine family,
- our detailed Mastiff Puppy Guide.
Our guide contains useful information about feeding, growth, exercise, training and health. And of course, even after the puppy has moved into their new home, we remain available as a personal point of contact.

Not every puppy is the right fit for every family
An English Mastiff should never be chosen solely because of his impressive appearance. Behind his size is a sensitive, affectionate dog who needs close family contact, clear guidance and loving, consistent training.
That is why we want to get to know prospective owners personally and understand how the dog will live in the future. Temperament, lifestyle and expectations should be a good long-term match.
For us, responsibility does not end on the day a puppy leaves. We remain available to our puppy families and are always happy to follow the continued development of the dogs we have bred.
