Miss Marple from the Celtic Mountain
A Female from Our Own Breeding History
Miss Marple, affectionately known to us as Missi, is a brindle English Mastiff female from our own breeding programme, From the Celtic Mountain. She was born on 29 December 2022 and is the litter sister of Magnus from the Celtic Mountain .
Miss Marple lives closely with us and is a cherished member of our family. In addition to her special importance for our own breeding line, she has been successfully presented at national and international dog shows and holds the titles German Champion (VDH) and Luxembourg Champion. Since our O-Litter was born in January 2026, she has also been shaping our breeding programme as the mother of the next generation.
Profile
Miss Marple at a Glance
Health & Responsibility
Comprehensive Health Examinations
Miss Marple has undergone comprehensive health examinations as part of our responsible breeding programme.
These examination results provide an important foundation for the responsible use of Miss Marple in our breeding programme.
Character & Temperament
Confident. Composed. And Very Affectionate
Miss Marple approaches everyday life with plenty of confidence and a wonderfully composed manner. She likes to observe what is happening around her first, remaining patient and rarely becoming unsettled or hectic.
At the same time, of course, she does not want to miss anything. If something is happening somewhere, she would rather go and take another look for herself.
Despite her self-assured nature, Miss Marple is exceptionally affectionate and loves being close to her people. She does not simply enjoy being stroked – when she wants attention, she quite naturally asks for it.
Within the pack, she also makes it very clear that she likes to have a say and certainly has her own ideas about how things should be done.
It is precisely this combination of confidence, composure, curiosity and closeness to her people that defines everyday life with Miss Marple.
Champion Titles
German & Luxembourg Champion
In 2026, Miss Marple was officially awarded the title German Champion (VDH). She also holds the title Luxembourg Champion.
For us, these Champion titles are a wonderful recognition of her development and her qualities in the show ring. They are, however, only one part of what makes Miss Marple so special to us and to our breeding programme.
From the Celtic Mountain
An Important Part of Our Own Breeding Line
As a female from our own breeding programme, Miss Marple has a special significance for From the Celtic Mountain. Her pedigree connects several generations of our breeding history.
For us, however, pedigree alone is never enough. Health, temperament, physical development and individual suitability are equally important.
On 9 January 2026, Miss Marple gave birth to our O-Litter. The sire of the litter is Ti Amo William von der Villa Graf. Miss Marple therefore now contributes to our breeding history not only as a female from our own line, but also as the mother of the next generation.
This combination of heritage, health, personality and her own offspring makes Miss Marple an important link between our breeding history and its continuing development.
