On Saturday, 20 September 2025, we held our Mastiff and Pug Meetup at the barbecue hut in Rascheid. In beautiful weather, many dogs and their people gathered for a special day of friendship, community and shared memories.
A Day of Friendly Encounters
There was a warm, relaxed atmosphere right from the start. The large meadow gave the Mastiffs and Pugs plenty of space to get to know one another, while their people chatted, shared experiences and enjoyed spending time together.
Time Together on the Meadow
The spacious meadow surrounding the barbecue hut had plenty of room for dogs of every size. From curious introductions and quiet observation to a refreshing splash of water, the day naturally revolved around the dogs.
Big and Small Dogs Together
Watching the impressive Mastiffs meet the much smaller Pugs was part of what made our gathering so special. Despite their differences in size, the dogs enjoyed a relaxed, harmonious day together – something we love to see every time.
A Relaxed Atmosphere for Dogs and People
There was plenty of time for quiet moments alongside all the play and activity. The dogs could take a break, watch what was going on or simply enjoy being with their people. That relaxed atmosphere made the gathering special for everyone.
A Welcome Chance to Cool Off
On such a sunny day, the water offered a welcome way to cool off. Some of the dogs made the most of it straight away and clearly enjoyed their refreshing break on the meadow.
