At the Double CACIB Offenburg 2026 on 14 and 15 March, we attended with Greta from Gawy and Magnus from the Celtic Mountain. Both presented themselves beautifully throughout this demanding but highly successful weekend and confirmed their excellent results on both show days.
Success at the Offenburg Dog Show 2026
On Saturday, 14 March 2026, the English Mastiffs were judged by Pietro Marino from Italy. Greta from Gawy competed in the Champion Class, while Magnus from the Celtic Mountain was shown in the Open Class. Both impressed the judge and received Excellent 1, earning important championship qualifications as well as the Ortenau Winner title.
Greta from Gawy Impresses on Both Days
Our Greta from Gawy presented herself beautifully in the Champion Class on both show days. On Saturday, under judge Pietro Marino, she received Excellent 1, CAC Neutral, a German Champion VDH qualification and the FCI-CACIB. She was also awarded Best of Breed and received the Ortenau Winner title.
Greta confirmed her excellent form again on Sunday. Under judge Bruno Nodalli, she once again received Excellent 1, CAC Neutral, a German Champion VDH qualification and the FCI-CACIB. She was again awarded Best of Breed and received the Ortenau Winner title for the second time that weekend. We were especially proud when Greta later made the shortlist of the final five dogs in FCI Group 2.
Magnus Becomes German Champion VDH
Our Magnus from the Celtic Mountain competed in the Open Class and was equally successful. On Saturday, under judge Pietro Marino, he received Excellent 1, CAC Neutral, a German Champion VDH qualification and the FCI-CACIB. He was also awarded Best of Opposite Sex and received the Ortenau Winner title.
Magnus confirmed his strong performance again on Sunday. Under judge Bruno Nodalli, he once again received Excellent 1, CAC Neutral, a German Champion VDH qualification and the FCI-CACIB. He was again awarded Best of Opposite Sex and received the Ortenau Winner title. With this qualification, Magnus fulfilled the requirements for the German Champion VDH title and may now officially carry this title.
Greta Makes the FCI Group 2 Shortlist
A special highlight followed in the main ring on Sunday. After once again being awarded Best of Breed, Greta had the opportunity to represent the breed in FCI Group 2. She made the shortlist of the final five dogs – an achievement that made us especially proud.
A Demanding but Successful Weekend
Two full show days with long schedules and many impressions made the weekend in Offenburg quite demanding. That made it all the more rewarding to see Greta and Magnus perform so successfully in the ring on both days. Their excellent results, Greta’s place among the final five dogs in the FCI Group 2 shortlist and the many wonderful encounters made this show a very special experience for us.

We are very proud of the achievements of both our dogs at the International Dog Show Offenburg 2026. Greta impressed on both days with Best of Breed and also made the FCI Group 2 shortlist on Sunday. Magnus was awarded Best of Opposite Sex on both show days and also secured the Ortenau Winner title twice.
